i am trying to decide what to buy. can anyone comment on the Haier tv versus these? there are no reviews yet, but more knowledgeable people may understand the descriptions better than i do. as far as i can tell they offer the same, but cheaper. i welcome comments…

Haier HLT7 7-Inch Portable HDTV
Yes, it’s portable. You can carry it easily. The antenna reception (west side of Cleveland), however, is very poor. On cable the picture is fine.
The instructions warn about a possible overheating hazard but say absolutely nothing about the internal battery, its expected length of play or charging time.
Email inquiry about the matter has never been answered.
Judging by many other complaints on this site which echo mine, my advice is not to order in hopes of getting a decent unit. If there is, in fact, a difference from unit to unit, its a roll of the dice, apparently. I’ll stick with a reliable, well established brand in th future!!

I am very dissappointed in this tv, since the change over to digital it doesnt come in at all, I keep getting a msg that says “no data” or something like that. I also have a digital radio/tv that is supposed to work after the change over and it doesnt. Maybe there are no antena in my area, not sure. At any rate I am not happy

This T.V. was terrible. I changed the attenna thinking the picture would improve; but I kept adjusting the picture everytime I changed the channel. The color kept fading in and out. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
